BOM Risk

BOM Risk Analysis for IC Purchasing

Before ordering a BOM, identify part numbers that may face price jumps, legacy supply pressure, stock scarcity or alternate-review risk.

Workflow

What the review checks

  • Part numbers already showing abnormal price movement in the trend database.
  • Memory, FPGA, display bridge, industrial and automotive parts with supply pressure.
  • Suffix, temperature grade, package and date-code differences that can change price.
  • Parts that need alternate selection or engineering approval before purchase.

Input

Send a simple BOM first

A CSV, Excel file or pasted text is enough for first screening. Add quantity, manufacturer preference, target price and delivery window when possible.

KLM8G1GETF-B041, Samsung, eMMC, 100 pcs, original stock required

Output

What you receive

The site generates a sourcing summary with matched models, risk level, possible reason and recommended follow-up. The summary can be sent directly to WhatsApp.

FAQ

BOM Review Questions

Is this the same as a final engineering approval?

No. This is a purchasing and sourcing-risk screen. Any alternate part still needs technical review by the project engineer before production use.

Can you review BOMs with missing manufacturers?

Yes, but manufacturer, package and suffix details improve accuracy. Missing details are flagged as open questions during follow-up.

What file formats can I use?

The request page accepts CSV, TXT, XLS and XLSX files, or you can paste the BOM directly into the text box.
